{"id":43,"date":"2013-02-05T16:42:57","date_gmt":"2013-02-05T21:42:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/?page_id=43"},"modified":"2013-05-14T18:07:42","modified_gmt":"2013-05-14T22:07:42","slug":"buick-lesabre","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/?page_id=43","title":{"rendered":"Buick LeSabre"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>1995 Buick LeSabre Custom<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is the page for my 1995 Buick LeSabre Custom.\u00a0 I had originally purchased the car from a friend of my parents for $2000 in August of 2002.\u00a0 The odometer was just a tick above 244,000 miles.\u00a0 This was the first car that was actually mine, because before buying this car, I would have to borrow my mom&#8217;s car anytime I needed to go somewhere.\u00a0 2000 was the year I started college, and since I had to commute every day, my parents wanted something that was reliable and safe (I was just happy to have my own car).\u00a0 Over the years, I grew to really appreciate this car, and in 2004, I began modifying.<\/p>\n<p>Once I started modifying the car, my goal became to make it unlike a normal LeSabre Custom &#8211; to make it stand out among all the other LeSabres by having a more &#8216;aggressive&#8217; look (along the lines of a sport luxury vehicle).\u00a0 The car was purchased as a base model Custom, so I decided to convert a large part of its looks into a Limited, the higher LeSabre trim level.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the fuel lines rotted away in March of 2011, and the car was parked because of that.\u00a0 I moved the car in December 2012 (after 7 months of sitting, it fired right up), but as I was coming down a hill, I blew a brake line.\u00a0 Now everything with the LeSabre is on hold until I can get those lines fixed (possibly Spring 2013).\u00a0 Then someday soon, I hope to finish the car in the way that I want too.<\/p>\n<p>Below are a few pictures of when the LeSabre was in it&#8217;s prime:<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Front view.\" href=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/cimg3083.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left\" alt=\"Street Clean - 1\" src=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/thumbs\/thumbs_cimg3083.jpg\" \/><\/a><a title=\"Angled passenger's view.\" href=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/cimg3090.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-center\" alt=\"Angled Street Clean - 3\" src=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/thumbs\/thumbs_cimg3090.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Driver's and rear view.\" href=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/cimg3097.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left\" alt=\"Street Clean - 6\" src=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/thumbs\/thumbs_cimg3097.jpg\" \/><\/a><a title=\"Rear view.\" href=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/cimg3111.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-center\" alt=\"Street Clean - 12\" src=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/2008-street\/thumbs\/thumbs_cimg3111.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That is when the car looked its best.\u00a0 Below are just a few select problems that are plaguing the car:<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Rusted rocker panel as seen from under the car.\" href=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/current-condition\/dsc_0116.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left\" alt=\"Rocker Panel - Underside\" src=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/current-condition\/thumbs\/thumbs_dsc_0116.jpg\" \/><\/a><a title=\"Rocker panel rusting, as seen from passenger side.\" href=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/current-condition\/dsc_0117.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-center\" alt=\"Rocker Panel - Side\" src=\"http:\/\/prasinos.mightorindustries.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/current-condition\/thumbs\/thumbs_dsc_0117.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Damage to hood and grill from someone backing into it.
